I love this video, i know bit slow in the times seeing as it was out last year, but I found it again today. The underwear is Dolce and Gabanna and is incredibly pretty. Beyonce is so adorable. I hope that as I become older and can afford fantastic underwear I will look this good. hmmm glamorous.

Thoroughly Modern Emily

it was so good. even though snow was forecasted the sun was shining and it wasn't that cold.
At ridiculous o'clock in the morning, Emily Gunning and I arrived and set up. Poor girl, the amount I put her through, (it is amazing how a great mac and cheese can act as a bargaining tool) Emily has beautiful long blonde hair which took a very long time to put up. But it looked great and the different layer caught the light. Six buses, Five outfits, hundreds of beads, a tin of hair spray, Thirty-seven kirby grips, Six cheese and pickle sandwiches and Twelve cups of tea makes a good day.

Have a wee peak at the results of the day, hope you like it. Need to photoshop the final ones so will put them up soon! rxx

The GVVT

On the 7th of February I met with the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust, Iain, Ian and Gordon. After a cup of tea and a chat about what I was up to (which you will find out about next week) we went for the tour around the garage in Bridgeton I really liked what they were doing and got to have a great look around. There is such a passion for restoring the buses, there is a story behind each one. They were more than happy to have me go on and off the buses (which i have to admit was not always graceful). A working Museum they have programs with the community and are very much present in Glasgow Fairs.

So I had three weeks to get everything up to scratch and D day is on Monday. Keep posted to find out what happens.

It's been a while....

Mostly because i forgot my password.

this year in a nutshell...

Summer: I was on the three month placement with That Looks Good in Paisley. got to do some really interesting costumes my favourites including Thoroughly Modern Millie, Beauty and the Beast as well as The Wedding Singer. I do believe I would wear most of the costumes for the Wedding Singer in normal life.

I left the placement to go to New York where I spent two weeks in Harlem, 135th street at the House of Holland with my fellow Scots Emma, Robyn, Lisa, Andre and for a small time Geyan, A strange set up but had the best time! Met some lovely people and even came back with the mildest of tans my goodness. Did a few wee pictures for darling Emma for her placement at Eva New York. Victoria's Secret is where my money disappeared. Got to see Avenue Q which was fantastic and very funny, but at the bar it was incredible difficult for a New Yorker to understand a Scot when asking for a "Loosey Goosey". Kats deli has great pastrami sandwiches and was great to look around.

Autumn: Moved to my new flat in the Burg, which only takes 25 mins to walk back from the centre having had one too many on a night out. I love being in a city. Uni Wednesday Thursday and hardcore dissertation work. Sexy Vs Smut where is the boundary is my title and it deals with the boundary of underwear in advertising. Reading Hundreds which makes a change.

Winter: New Year was spent in The Gardens with the Bayou crowd and Biffy Cylro. EMily decking Lindsay at the bells was the beginning of a great year.
Christmas number two in the Bayou, haha chinese take out in boxes and bucket of chicken, truly beautiful haha.
just busy busy busy trying to keep up with everything.

TFDM3 teamed up with the BHF (british heart foundation). We had six weeks to create something wonderful, Our mission was to raid our closest charity shops and customise and create garments for a one off fashion show, So on the 24th February we put on a show at the Edinburgh Jamhouse!
TFDM3 was split into six groups, my group was the "Engagement" theme and we thought to hell with the conventional engagement dinner lets go for the "Rocky Horror Picture Show" as our theme! Rhinestones, Leather and Lamee ahoy! I did indeed make a lamee leotard and two pairs of leather shorts.
The top picture is all our models and group members! (where is Emma Noble?)
The night seemed to be a great success, on our part especially and it will now be put as an annual thing! Good Luck to next years TFDM.
Here are some of the pictures from the night!

Photoshoot march 29th

Yesterday helped out some uni friends with their collection photographs! such good fun! went to a little studio in edinburgh, the girl was lovely and even stayed an extra hour to help us out. The designers are part of FDI3 at Heriot Watt. The first set were for Emily Oliveri's collection "Wings", The next set were for Samantha McEwan "Love Your Bones" and the final set were for Anna Visocchi's "From Our Haus to Bahaus". Alot of hard work went into the garments!
I love Emily
"Scared face, your scared, terrified, ALIEN BABIES ARE CHASING YOU!"
Clearly I need to work on that!
Fellow models are Robyn Wade on the right and Yasmin Bawa on the far left in the last picure.
Great day.
